Stephen and I moved to Butterton, from Stockport in 1999. We originally lived at a different property in Butterton but moved into our present home Back Lane Farm in June 2004. We have been animal lovers all our lives and for the first ten years of living in Butterton we were very busy being involved with an animal recue charity in Sheffield. We helped with the re-homing of many animals in need and at one point had in our care 17 ponies, 9 goats, 5 dogs, 2 cows, 2 ducks, 2 guinea fowl, a dozen hens, 2 cockerels and a wonderful stag turkey named Bernard! Happy Days!
We sadly no longer have any pets or animals of our own to care for, and so I decided now would be the time to set up Peak Park Pooches, and offer a great service to devoted dog lovers who would love a well deserved holiday or short break away but would not dream of putting their beloved dog/dogs into kennels, or with home boarders who have several pets of their own or who accept dogs from more than one household, as you never know what could happen! No one can possibly give your dog/dogs their full attention if they have their own pets to see to plus dogs from different households boarding at the same time. At Peak Park Pooches we only board dogs from the same household.
