Here at Peak Park Pooches we want only the very best experience for you and your beloved dog/dogs, and therefore before any booking can be made we will arrange a meeting, whereby you and your dog/dogs will come to our home and between us we will assess your dogs needs and requirements and suitability for home boarding. If all goes well and both parties are happy the booking can proceed and a unique package of care can then be prepared for your dog!
Peak Park Pooches cannot accept provisional bookings, as we are such a small bespoke company, we have to work on a first come first served basis. We are only too happy to discuss yours and your doggie's dates and requirements but can only confirm a booking on payment of a deposit which is normally 50% of the boarding fee, with the balance due when you bring your dog/dogs to us for their holiday.
All dogs without exception must be up to date with all their necessary vaccinations and be on a regular worm and flea/parasite treatment program.
The dog/dog's vaccination record must accompany them to the first meeting, where it will be checked and photo copied for our records.
All dogs without exception must be microchipped, according to the law, and details of such must be brought to the initial meeting where a copy will be taken for our records.
Your dog will have a tailor made care plan to suit their individual needs entirely. Whether he/she is elderly and does not require much excercise, or if they are raring to go, we will make sure all their needs are attended to.
If your dog is on medication this will be carefully administered according to you and your veterinary instructions.
On arrival on the first day of boarding we will fit an additional identity tag to your dog's collar detailing the fact that your dog is boarding at Peak Park Pooches, with our contact details.
You will need please to provide the following to ensure continuity and familiarity throughout your dog's stay with us to ensure that he/she has the best home from home experience possible:
Enough of your dog's regular food to last throughout the period of home boarding.
Your dog/dog's lead.
Your dog's bed/bedding.
Your dog's brushes (should he/she need them!).
Your dog's favourite toys!
If we have your permission we can supply your dog with lots of yummy, tasty treats!
